Distinctives help answer the question, “What makes your church unique?” Churches, like people, have unique DNA. God has not called every church to operate within the same structure and the same philosophy, but this is what we feel God is calling us to become.
1. GOSPEL-CENTERED LIVING: DECISIONS ARE DRIVEN BY THE MISSION OF JESUS
We believe that all of our decision making must serve the mission of Jesus. He is the point of life and goal of life. When others are around us or they step into our lives that what they see is Jesus – the Gospel being reflected.
2. CASUAL ATMOSPHERE: FOCUSED, BUT SIMPLE & AUTHENTIC.
The goal of our worship services is simple – we want to encounter God. We sing to that end, preach to that end, and respond to that end. On a practical level – We seek to be a place that keeps it simple.
3. MEN AND FAMILIES ARE VALUED: WE MAKE IT A PRIORITY TO DEVELOP THE LEADER
Our focus is to build men – develop them into the leader that God has called them to be. The goal is to see men take their role as the leader of the home, church, and community. We Don’t Just Want To Develop Church-Attenders, We Want To Develop Leaders.
4. CHURCH PLANTING CHURCH: WE WANT TO START A MOVEMENT, NOT JUST CHURCHES
We believe that the best way to reach new people with the Gospel is through church planting. We want our focus to be continually on spreading the Gospel through planting and mission work. Part of our DNA is to develop qualified men to plant and support the new work.
