We believe that Church is not just a Celebration, but it is living in community. Its people living life together and helping one another throughout our city. Each week, the people of The Rock meet in groups to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live life together. We call these groups Community Groups – they are the heart of our church.
We encourage everyone who attends The Rock to participate in one of these groups. The reason being that we were all created to exist in community, and this is why they are so essential to your walk with God. We were built to function in relationship with one another and with God. Community Groups are one of the ways we grow spiritually and stay connected with one another.
If you are looking to get more connected at The Rock Church, Community Groups are the way to go. And while it’s always intimidating and a bit scary to meet new people and be a stranger, we promise you won’t be a stranger for long.
Our Community Groups meet 3 times a year and we strongly encourage that those who wish to participate to commit for the entire 7 week duration of the semester.
Community Groups meet:
Fall Semester: Sept – Nov
Winter Semester: Jan – Mar
Spring Semester: Apr – May
During the Summer, Community Groups come together at our annual church-wide picnic.
